Every dot is a control. The four sparkles are agents that stay with you once you pick them up, but they only reach about two tiles and they recharge slowly.
Arrow keys or WASD to move. P pauses, M mutes, space restarts. On a phone, swipe the board.
Every dot is a control. Clear them all and the quarter closes.
The four sparkles are agents, dropped somewhere new each quarter. Pick one up and it stays with you for the rest of the run, clearing any manual work that gets within about two tiles, then recharging for six and a half seconds. The ring around it shows how long is left. Four is the cap, and they are not a shield: anything that reaches you while they are all recharging costs a life.
Spreadsheet sprawl comes straight at you. Evidence requests aim four tiles ahead of where you are going. Vendor questionnaires work with sprawl to cut you off from the far side. Audit season hangs back until you are within ten tiles. All of it speeds up as the board empties, and anything you clear comes back faster than it left.
